Listen: Listen to a previously unreleased demo of David Bowie’s ‘Let’s Dance’

It’s been released to mark the singer’s 71st birthday.
Today would’ve been David Bowie’s 71st birthday, and a new previously unreleased demo version of ‘Let’s Dance’ has been released to commemorate the event.
The demo was recorded in Switzerland with Nile Rodgers, and the guitarist has shared a statement upon the track’s release.
“I woke up on my first morning in Montreux with David peering over me,” he wrote.
“He had an acoustic guitar in his hands and exclaimed, ‘Nile, darling, I think this is a HIT!’
“The time we spent mixing it just before Christmas was full of tears as it felt like David was in the room with us. Happy Birthday David, I love you and we all miss you!”
