Watch The War On Drugs play ‘Pain’ on Fallon

They took the cut from ‘A Deeper Understanding’ to late-night telly.

The War On Drugs released their latest album ‘A Deeper Understanding’ last year and it’s earned them their first Grammy nomination.

As the ceremony approaches, the band headed to late night telly, as musical guests on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’. There, they brought out their single ‘Pain’ and no, it wasn’t a painful performance at all. Instead, it was a smooth, laid-back rendition of the jam that included some mighty fine riffs from frontman Adam Granduciel.

Last year we caught up with Adam to talk all about ‘A Deeper Understanding’. You can catch up with the full interview here.
