Alt-J have announced a show at New York’s Forest Hills Stadium on 15th June, but it won’t be your usual gig…
Nope, not only will it be their biggest ever headline show in North American, but the band are also set to play the only “immersive sound show” on the continent. The gig will feature a surround sound system that will envelope the entire audience, used to position a host of sound effects that will mingle with the band’s own material. They’ll also be taking their unique light show to the stadium.
The band have also confirmed that they’ll be joined by jazz maestro Kamasi Washington for the show.
