David Byrne is set to release his new album ‘American Utopia’ on 9th March through Todomundo/ Nonesuch, and has already shared ‘Everybody’s Coming To My House’ from it.
Now he’s shared another track from the album while visiting BBC 6 Music. ‘This Is That’ is a collaboration with Oneohtrix Point Never and it’s a fairly stuttering, clattering and complex number. After playing the track, David also played a selection of his favourite tunes and discussed a bit more about the new record.
Listen to ‘This Is That’ here at about the 1 hour 50 minute mark.
David will also be heading out on a UK tour in support of ‘American Utopia’ in June. Recently, he also added a second date at London’s Eventim Apollo.
