Boy Azooga announce debut album ‘1 2, Kung Fu!’ with ‘Loner Boogie’ video

The band head out on tour with The Magic Gang next month.

Fresh from headlining one of our Hello 2018 shows at London’s Old Blue Last and sharing debut single ‘Face Behind Her Cigarette’, Cardiff’s Boy Azooga have now revealed details of their debut album.

‘1 2, Kung Fu!’ comes out on 8th June via Heavenly Recordings, and is being previewed by a video for new single ‘Loner Boogie’.

Talking about the ‘Loner Boogie’ video, the band’s Davey Newington says: “It’s a scary world out there these days, sometimes you don’t want to go outside. Sometimes you get the Loner Boogie.

“Follow us into the Cardiff Transport Club for some fish-eye Kung Fu and a Guinness with the legendary Kliph Scurlock. Not sure he’s that into it to be honest though.”

The band are set to head out on a UK tour alongside The Magic Gang and Our Girl next month, with more shows following throughout the year.
