ALASKALASKA return with ‘Meateater’

The track comes comes ahead of UK shows with Nilüfer Yanya.

South London newcomers ALASKALASKA are set to support fellow Neu fave Nilüfer Yanya on her UK tour next month, and have shared a new single in advance.

‘Meateater’ follows last year’s self-titled EP, and is described by vocalist Lucinda John-Duarte as “about how frustrating it is to be categorised or stereotyped. We’re always in competition with each other or ourselves, trying to sell ourselves like meat and hiding parts of our being in the process.”

ALASKALASKA are set to play the DIY stage at both Live At Leeds and Liverpool Sound City next month, taking place across the weekend of 5th-6th May. They’ll also play a London headline show at Corsica Studios on 7th June.
