With the line-up now announced, it looks like Belle and Sebastian’s festival/cruise/holiday experience is now officially a thing!
Joining the host band, the Boaty Weekender - which marks the 20th anniversary of Belle & Sebastian’s legendary 1998 Bowlie Weekender - will feature performances from Mogwai, Camera Obscura, Django Django, Alvvays, The Buzzcocks, Japanese Breakfast, Honeyblood, HINDS, Kelly Lee Owens, Nilüfer Yanya, Whyte Horses, Tracyanne and Danny.
The cruise will take place over four days, sailing from Barcelona to Cagliari, Sardinia, between 8-12 August 2019.
Each artist will play multiple performances across five stages during the festival and you’ll also be able to experience unique artist collaborations, Q&As, panel sessions, themed parties and more.

WE’VE GOT A FAVOUR TO ASK
We’re often asked about you, our readers. So we’d really appreciate it if you’d offer up a bit of information about you, and your music-loving habits by filling in our 2019 readers’ survey.
(Don’t worry, none of what we’re asking for is personally identifiable - and no questions are compulsory.)
