Yesterday on Twitter, Robyn was teasing a big announcement and today she’s confirmed the news that she’ll be playing a huge show at Madison Square Garden next year!
Robyn will play 20,000+ capacity venue on 8th March 2019. It’ll be her first North American show since 2016. You can see Robyn’s announcement for the show below.
She’ll be performing in support of her latest album ‘Honey’, which was released last month and was her first album in eight years since 2010’s ‘Body Talk’.
Speaking to DIY in her cover feature around the album, Robyn explained: ““I felt a bit lost. When I did the ‘Body Talk’ album I’d just finished the other album before it [2005’s self-titled effort], so I was up to speed and just continuing. With [‘Honey’], it really felt like a new start, and that was a little nervewracking. I knew that I had to take my time, and I wasn’t in a space where I could force it. I really didn’t have a choice, it was just the way it was.” Read the full cover feature here.
Pre-sale tickets for Robyn’s Madison Square Garden show will be available from 10am EST tomorrow.
