Little Simz is back with a new video for her latest song ‘Boss’!
The video takes inspiration from classic film noir aesthetic, and follows on from her last release ‘Offence’.
Speaking about the visual, director Jeremy Ngatho Cole says: “For ‘Boss’ I wanted to make something with Simz that felt immediate and striking without any gimmicks. On the track it’s just Simz, so I wanted to showcase her performance directly. I wanted it to feel classic. We shot on 16mm, digital and tape so the aesthetic was layered but simple.”
Earlier this year Little Simz appeared on alt-J’s remix of ‘3WW’. The North London rapper is currently in the studio working on new music after the release of her 2017 album ‘Stillness In Wonderland’.
