A host of musicians joined together at Rough Trade in Brooklyn last night to play songs in memory of Frightened Rabbit’s Scott Hutchison.
‘Tiny Changes: A Celebration Of The Songs Of Scott Hutchison’ took place to commemorate the late singer, who died this May, and featured the likes of Julien Baker, Death Cab For Cutie’s Ben Gibbard, The National’s Aaron Dessner (who produced the band’s last album ‘Painting Of A Panic Attack’), The Hold Steady’s Craig Finn and Kevin Devine.
All proceeds from the gig went to the Scott Hutchison Fund, a new mental health charity set up by Hutchison’s family.
Three recordings of the performances have emerged which you can watch below. Death Cab’s Ben and The National’s Aaron performed ‘My Backwards Walk from Frightened Rabbit’s ‘The Midnight Organ Fight, whilst Julien performed ‘Holy’ and then teamed up with Aaron to perform ‘The Woodpile’.
