Frank Ocean and Om’Mas Keith have dropped their Blonde lawsuits after the pair previously sued each other last year.
In February 2018, Frank Ocean filed a lawsuit against Blonde producer Om’Mas Keither after he claimed he deserved a co-writing credit for most of the songs on the album. Frank claimed that Om’Mas Keith was brought onto the album as a work-for-hire producer and paid a flat fee for his album contibutions, to which the producer countersued Frank later that year.
Now, according to The Blast and Pitchfork, they’ve decided to call the whole thing off.
Apparently the pair reached a “negotiated settlement executed by them” that closes both cases. Both Frank and Om’Mas paid their own legal fees in the case.
