Dizzee Rascal has shared a new video for his song ‘Quality’.
Taken from his latest EP ‘Don’t Gas Me’, ‘Quality’ samples the classic 1992 hardcore track ‘The Sound Of Music’ by Nookie.
“Sampling ‘The Sound of Music’ by Nookie on ‘Quality’ was really special for me,” Dizzee explains. “It was one of my favourite songs as a child, and one of the songs that introduced me to hardcore/drum n bass music as well as pirate radio culture, which has been a major influence in my career. I still love making beats and I’m glad I got the blessing to remake this classic.”
The video, which was filmed at Chrisp Street on the Lansbury estate in Poplar, stars Dizzee and is directed by Joel Spencer. Watch it below.
