‘Runnin” features recent single ‘Wild Ones’ in previewing the new record, the follow-up to their recent ‘Hypnotic Sun’ EP.
‘Gaia & Friends’ is described by the band as a “snapshot of time and a chapter of music” created across continents, with a host of collaborators including Chilean singer-songwriter Soledad Vélez, Colombian superstars Bomba Estéreo and South Africa’s Petite Noir along with samples and field recordings lifted from the band’s travels.
“Our music represents the coming together of people and spirits in one place, and we see that as an analogy of life itself,” says frontman Sebastian Pringle.
“We’re all together in this one big concert that is life. Our music is a celebration of life.”
Crystal Fighters are set to play a host of shows across the first half of 2019, including a London headline show at Brixton Academy on 4th April. Tickets are on sale now.
