Booking now ALASKALASKA announce UK shows, share video for ‘Sweat’

The band will also be heading out on the road with Hot Chip at the end of the year.
South London band ALASKALASKA have announced for a handful of November headline shows.
The band, who released their debut album ‘The Dots’ earlier this year, will kick things off with a show at Oxford’s Jericho Tavern, before their headline shows finish at London’s XOYO.
They’ll then head out to mainland Europe with dance-pop legends Hot Chip for fourteen shows.
That’s not all, either: they’ve also shared their new video for ‘Sweat’. Speaking of the video, singer Lucinda Duarte-Holman has said: “It’s supposed to be a visual metaphorical representation for sex, without being explicit. It’s hard to come by a video for a song about something that’s is so intimate and not involve some form of nudity or crass elements. Its vulnerable but it’s also ‘tongue and cheek’- being taken for a ride in a car with the top down. That’s a pretty romantic scene in my opinion…”
