War Child announce industry day for Safe & Sound Series

We’re teaming up with War Child to host a day of artist interviews and panel discussions about mental health and the music industry!

As part of this year’s Safe & Sound Series, we’re teaming up with War Child to put on some fab gigs later this year at Hackney EartH, with headline slots from Sundara Karma and Stefflon Don, but that’s not all!

We’ll also be hosting an industry day on 4th September, featuring panel discussions and artist interviews, it’ll be a day of conversation surrounding resilience, support and mental health in the music industry.

Hosted by Team DIY, we’ve already got Rebecca Taylor (aka Self Esteem) confirmed for the day, alongside loads more exciting names yet to be announced.

Rich Clarke, Head of Music at War Child, says of the day: “We are extremely excited to be working with some amazing partners to stimulate discussion around such an important topic for the industry and for the beneficiaries of War Child’s programs. We’ll be raising awareness of the importance of mental health for the young people that we work with through our Safe & Sound series this year, and to bring this conversation back to the industry that has supported us for 25 years is a big moment for us.”

You can grab tickets for the industry day right here via Skiddle.
