With his ninth studio album ‘House of Sugar’ set for release on 13th September, (Sandy) Alex G is sharing his latest cut ‘Southern Sky’.
Featuring vocals from Emily Yacina, the jangly track flourishes with big guitar strokes, distorted violin and twinkling piano chords, creating a hopeful vibe that feels like it should be soundtracking a coming-of-age movie.
An intriguing glimpse at what’s to come, the accompanied video was created by frequent collaborator Elliot Bech.

The new track follows last year’s ‘House of Sugar’ album.
Two hours of sombre guitar music and hilarious interjections, who could ask for more?
The strangeness of it all is so delightful that you can’t help but come back for more.
The track comes from his upcoming album, ‘House of Sugar’.
