On the eve of their mahoosive headlining sets at Reading and Leeds, The 1975 have shared their brand new single.
Following on from their eponymous album intro ‘The 1975’ - which featured a 4-minute spoken word essay from climate activist Greta Thunberg - the quartet have now unleashed their explosive track ‘People’. And when we say explosive, we bloody mean it.
And that’s not all! The band have also confirmed the release date for their new album - and the second part of their ‘Music For Cars’ era - ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’. The follow-up to last year’s ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’ will land on 21st February 2020 - get yr diaries out now!
What a treat! So, if you’re ready for it, watch the video for ‘People’ below.
The 1975 have been shortlisted for the 2019 Hyundai Mercury Prize. For more information on this year’s Prize, head to mercuryprize.hyundai.co.uk.
