slowthai returns with new track ‘ENEMY’

It’s his first new material since last year’s debut album ‘Nothing Great About Britain’.

After getting himself cancelled following an altercation with Katherine Ryan at the NME Awards last year, slowthai is back, addressing his haters head-on with new track ‘ENEMY’.

Opening with The 1975’s Matty Healy saying, “Everyone, send your thoughts to slowthai. Fuck knows where he is but god bless the boy,” followed by a woman later declaring: “slowthai, you have officially been cancelled. Cunt.” It’s a direct response to the backlash he received due to being a prick at the awards ceremony, twisting his new ‘ENEMY’ tag into the hard AF genre-bending number.

His first piece of new material since last year’s ‘Nothing Great About Britain’ LP, have a listen below.
