Woohoo! Today, Manchester alt-pop six-piece Mealtime are sharing their debut EP ‘Aperitif’!
After wowing us with bangers over the past year, the group explain, “our Aperitif is best served cool, pumping through shitty speakers on a park bench with a packet of Space Raiders.” Lovely.
Including previously released bops like ‘Sublime’ and ‘Rain Like This’, the EP includes brand new’uns ‘S.P.E.C.I.A.L’ and ‘Excess’, the latter they describe as “a broody alt-pop banger about craving the unattainable, whether it’s love, sex or luxury. We were originally going to call it K-Swiss but we were told we’d get sued.”
Revisit our chat with them last year here, and blast out the full EP below.
