“It’s about putting yourself in the other person’s shoes so you have a better understanding of the situation.”

After announcing last night that he’s releasing a new song, slowthai has shared his brand new track ‘feel away’ featuring James Blake and Mount Kimbie today.

Accompanying the announcement with a moving dedication to his late little brother Michael John, slowthai says of his new number, “This song is about the doubts we have whether it be within friendships, your partner or with our family. It’s about putting yourself in the other person’s shoes so you have a better understanding of the situation.”

Written in LA at the beginning of the year, ‘feel away’ comes alongside a mesmerising new video directed by Oscar Hudson, that will bring back extreme flashbacks of the “everything is cake” meme from early this year…
