merci, mercy unveils new song ‘Tequila & Lemonade’

Her debut EP ‘no thank you, no thanks’ arrives this Friday!

With her debut EP ‘no thank you, no thanks’ out this Friday (16th October), Sydney’s merci, mercy is giving us our latest taste of what to expect, sharing new indie-pop bop ‘Tequila & Lemonade’.

“’Tequila & Lemonade’ took the longest of all songs on the EP to write,” she says. “It touches on similar themes to ‘Fucked Myself Up,’ it’s about feeling trapped in your own head and looking for ways to escape and feel confident.”

“It was quite a therapeutic process for me to write these songs and I hope they might connect with people who have been through similar experiences,” she adds about her forthcoming EP.
