Not content with releasing a stone cold, 5-star classic album this Friday (read our glowing review of ‘Blue Weekend’ for proof), Wolf Alice have now revealed plans for a special screening of its accompanying short film.
Premiering next Thursday (10th June) at London’s Picturehouse Central, the piece is set to continue on from the band’s recent set of videos, giving the full album the visual treatment. Screening at 6.30pm and 8.45pm, the special event will also feature an acoustic set from the band.
Of it, they say: “Last winter we began making a visual feast for your eyes. Set on a night out we wanted to bring the music of ‘Blue Weekend’ to life with this beautiful film directed by Jordan Hemingway. Pints and ciggies have literally never looked this good lol. This was an amazing experience and we really hope you enjoy it as much as we do.”
To be in with a chance of attending, register here by 3pm, Monday 7th June or purchase any ‘Blue Weekend’ bundle. Tickets will then go on sale on a first come first served basis to registered applicants at 10am, Tuesday 8th June.
