The run of intimate shows comes before his March headline tour.

With his second solo album ‘Hop Up’ due out on 14th January, Orlando Weeks has announced a run of intimate November dates before his March headline tour.

A stripped back set-up with Orlando and his long-time live collaborator Sami El-Enany on keys, he’ll be playing seven small dates, kicking off in Tunbridge Wells on 14th and including a gig at London’ The Social.

“It struck me that since A Quickening came out I’ve not had the chance to see anyone or play the songs from the album so this is my way of remedying that in some bouncy rooms before the national tour in March,” Orlando says.

Check out the full run of dates below.

18 - Ramsgate, Music Hall

‘A Quickening’ found the former Maccabee ruminating on the more pensive aspects of parenthood. ‘Hop Up’ follows to show the more joyful side of the coin with a record rooted in lightness and pleasure.

An irresistibly likeable album, very much in the mould of its creator’s affable, mellow personality.
