News Little Simz shares short film, ‘I Love You, I Hate You’

It centres around the track of the same name from this year’s ‘Sometimes I Might Be Introvert’.

Little Simz has released a short film.

‘I Love You, I Hate You’ has been created by Simz and is centred around the track of the same name from this year’s album, ‘Sometimes I Might Be Introvert’, written by Caroline Adeyemi and is directed by Sam Pilling. Alongside the rapper herself, it stars Shaniqua Okwok (It’s A Sin, Small Axe), CJ Beckford (Big Age, National Theatre’s Small Island) and Sonia Ajuwa.

“I Love You, I Hate You is the story of abandonment,” explains Little Simz. “How trauma can affect us in our adult lives if never confronted. I wanted to make this film because I feel it’s a universal story that many people can relate to”

The film can be watched here.

Simz tours the UK and Ireland from later this month.
