Watch alt-J share tragic video for ‘The Actor’

The band are set to tour new album ‘The Dream’ across the UK from next week.

alt-J have shared a brand new video for their song ‘The Actor’ – check it out below.

The trio, who released fourth album ‘The Dream’ back in February, have based their new visual – directed by Saskia Dixie – on a tragic story of an American couple, which teams with the message of the song.

“Having the opportunity to work with our talented friend and director, Saskia Dixie was a treat, and we believe her ability to capture the emotional aspect of this song serves ‘The Actor’ beautifully,” the band said in a statement.

The band are set to tour the UK behind ‘The Dream’ from next week. The tour includes four London shows at Brixton Academy, one of which will see them playing their debut album ‘An Awesome Wave’ in full.
