It’s the latest preview of forthcoming album ‘Stumpwork’.

With their new album ‘Stumpwork’ set for release on 21st October, Dry Cleaning are unveiling their latest single ‘No Decent Shoes For Rain’.

“’No Decent Shoes for Rain’ is inspired by grief,” Florence Shaw explains. “Grief over past relationships, grief for loved ones who have died, and all the things that come with that; loneliness, numbness, yearning, ruminating about the past.”

Cleaning Up: Dry Cleaning

Since their acclaimed debut album, Dry Cleaning have been on a giddy upwards trajectory. While the world around the London quartet has changed, ‘Stumpwork’ is as singularly idiosyncratic as ever.
