Are The Smiths Set To Reform?

We might all be rolling our eyes right now, but could it be true?

According to www.music-news.com, The Smiths look set to reform.

Yes, we know. It’s about as likely as spotting a pig flying whilst discovering Santa Claus has been real all along. In fact, it’s probably even less likely, but according to this story, the seminal British band might be getting back together.

If the rumours are true, this would be the first time that the foursome - Morrissey, Johnny Marr, Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce - graced a stage together since they split in 1987.

Apparently, ‘a source’ revealed that the iconic Mancunians have been in talks to perform with a well-known promoter, following the reunion of The Stone Roses last year.

So, er, guess we’ll see? (We almost certainly won’t - Ed)
