Hevy Festival Announce New Acts: The Menzingers, METZ & Comeback Kid

They’ll be joined by the likes of Horse The Band, Tigers Jaw, Circle Takes The Square, Code Orange Kids and Heights.

When Hevy Festival announced the first band to be gracing its line-up last month, the news was met with shock and awe. After all, they did manage to reform Black Flag.

Now, we’ve been treated to a list of the first fourteen acts to be confirmed to perform at this year’s event, and they really are rather exciting.

The Menzingers, Comeback Kid, METZ and Hatebreed are all set on returning to the UK for the festival, which takes place in Kent this August. They’ll be joined by the likes of Horse The Band, Tigers Jaw, Circle Takes The Square, Code Orange Kids, Heights, Full Of Hell, Bossk, Palm Reader, Mine and The Catharsis, with a lot more acts to be announced soon.

The summer festival, which single-handedly melds together an array of punk, hardcore and generally heavy offerings, will be celebrating its fifth birthday at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in Kent. Set to take place across four stages from 2nd to 4th August, over eighty bands have been pencilled in for the self-professed ‘party to end all parties’.
