The duo, formed in 2002 by Cocker and Jason Buckle of fellow Sheffield act All Seeing I, will reunite to provide live accompaniment to modern dance troupe the Michael Clark Company.
The group previously played with them in New York earlier this year. The shows will also feature music from Scritti Politti, and will take place at the Barbican Theatre between 17th-27th of October.
Relaxed Muscle released their only album, ‘A Heavy Nite With…’, in 2003. Cocker recently refused to rule out further shows and new material from the reformed Pulp: ‘I’ve enjoyed doing these shows because the idea was, could we manage to do it again, to make it feel like it was worth doing and to make it sound right? And I think we managed to do that.’
