Last week, Jimmy Eat World announced their return to arms, with a brand new album in tow. Last night, the band premiered the first track to be taken from their eighth studio album ‘Damage’.
‘I Will Steal You Back’ was premiered during Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 slot yesterday, marking the first taste we've had of their forthcoming record, as well as the first musical offering from the band since their 2010 album 'Invented'. The track bears the anthemic choruses and riffing guitars that we’ve come to expect from the Arizona four-piece, and you can have a listen below.
The band also announced a special one-off show at London’s KOKO on 16th June, after their performance at Download Festival.
'Damage' is set to be released through RCA Records/ Dine Alone on 10th June (11th in the US).
