In what is quite a coup for the Scottish event’s 20th anniversary, the legendary German electronic group will make their first appearance at the festival bringing with them their acclaimed live show complete with 3D visuals, animations and projections for a set that will encompass songs from throughout their career.
The pioneering group led, by founder member Ralf Hütter, are currently in the middle of an eight-night residency at London’s Tate Modern Turbine Hall where they are performing each of their studio albums in full.
The residency concludes with a performance of their final studio album ‘Tour De France’ on Thursday 14th February. You can read DIY’s verdict on the ‘The Man Machine’ date here.
Kraftwerk join the festival at Balado in Kinross’ previously announced headliners Mumford & Sons, Rihanna and The Killers. T In The Park 2013 takes place on from 12th - 14th July and the final batch of tickets for the 3 days go on sale on Friday 22nd February at 9am.
