Listen: Crystal Fighters’ ‘You & I’ Gets Sunless ‘97 Remix

The original features on the band’s forthcoming album, ‘Cave Rave’.

Crystal Fighters are due to release new album, ‘Cave Rave’ later this month - the ten-track follow-up to 2010’s ‘Star of Love’ will be out via the trifecta of Zirkulo/PIAS/Atlantic on 27th May.

We’ve already heard single ‘You & I’ via the video revealed last week - now the band have shared a reworking courtesy of London upstarts Sunless ‘97.

The original track is, according to frontman Sebastian Pringle, ‘a song that describes how time can fly by at warp speed, or slow down into a dream, when you are in love. All the craziness going on around you hardly matters, all that’s on your mind is you and your lover and that’s it. Everything can be happening at once, but nothing is important, not even time, when you’re together.’

Crystal Fighters will play KOKO in London on 23rd May, appear at this summer’s Reading and Leeds festivals, and have a UK tour scheduled for later this year.

Those dates are:

21 Brighton Concorde 2
22 London Brixton Academy
23 Manchester Academy 2
25 Leeds University Union
26 Glasgow Arches
27 Newcastle University Union
28 Liverpool East Village Arts Club
29 Bristol Trinity
30 Birmingham Institute

Tickets are on sale now.
