Listen: Jorge Elbrecht & Ariel Pink Collaborate On ‘Called To Ring’

Calling themselves Jorge Elbrose”, the two have combined for a blistered track, taken from a Mexican Summer compilation.”

Ariel Pink and Jorge Elbrecht of Violens have collaborated previously on ‘Hang on to Life’, a supremely confident swash of rich sounds. New song ‘Called to Ring’ is very, very different. It’s unlike anything either of the musicians have put their name to, with sweeping, all-enveloping fuzz stealing the show.

The two are operating under the name Jorge Elbrose, now. The new song appears on ‘Mexican Summer: Five Years’, a coffee table book that’s limited to 1000 copies. A previously unveiled song from Autre Ne Veut also appears on the release, which comes out on 16th December.
