News Parklife Announces Additions And New Venue

The festival is moving to Heaton Park.

Manchester's Parklife Festival has announced its new location, after being held for the last time in Platt Fields last year.

The festival is now making its new home in Heaton Park, which has seen events like Stone Roses and the Arctic Monkeys in the past, as well as hometown heroes, Oasis.

As well as announcing the new venue, the organisers have also added a few acts to the already exciting line up.

Melbourne four-piece, The Temper Trap will now be playing the event, with TEED taking up a DJ set.

The event will take place across the weekend of the 8th and 9th June, with tickets available from In it's new home, the festival has grown to include a larger dance arenas, with 'many hidden nooks and crannies' promised to attendees.

The event will also Disclosure, Four Tet, The Maccabees, Johnny Marr, AlunaGeorge, Daphni and John Talabot take the stage over the course of the weekend.

Elsewhere on the line-up you'll find acts including Jurassic 5, Everything Everything, The Horrors, TOY, Liars, Savages, Rita Ora, Benga, Delphic, Maya Jane Coles, Simian Mobile Disco, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Roses Gabor. Tickets are priced at £69.50 for the weekend, or £45 for the day.
