News Premiere: Terry Malts Share Altered Images Cover, ‘I Could Be Happy’

Slumberland signings take on Scottish New Wavers, with devastating results.

San Francisco trio Terry Malts recently released their sophomore album, ‘Nobody Realizes This Is Nowhere’, on Slumberland Records. Twenty seven minutes of scuzzy punk-rock shoots by in an instant.

Luckily, DIY has a premiere of them covering Scottish New Wave act Altered Images’ hit single ‘I Could Be Happy’, which should quench any further thirst for frantic noise. As expected Terry Malts speed things up, in a track defined by Benson’s urgent vocal delivery, melodies racing against each other and awesome guitar solo towards the end.

‘I Could Be Happy’ is taken from the super limited bonus flexi that comes with the first few hundred copies of Terry Malts' new album ‘Nobody Realizes This Is Nowhere’. Listen to DIY’s premiere below.
