Despite playing show after the show in London and Manchester - all seemingly building up to one big announcement - the legandary musician won’t be appearing this year, although according to organiser Emily Eavis he’s someone they’ll be looking to get in the future.
Speaking to 6 Music, Eavis said: ‘He’s someone that will be amazing one day, he’s somebody that we haven’t had, and we would love to have him at Glastonbury. But no, no we haven’t.’
Eavis also appeared to confirmed Courtney Barnett for a slot on the Park Stage in the same interview. Arcade Fire, Disclosure and Warpaint are the acts who’ve self-confirmed for Glastonbury 2014.
Glastonbury takes place from Wednesday 25th to Sunday 29th June 2014. Tickets are sold out at £210 - there are likely to be returns.
