News Sebadoh Announce New Album, ‘Defend Yourself’

A vinyl copy of their ‘Secret’ EP will also be available from next week.

Sebadoh will return this autumn with 'Defend Yourself', the band's first full-length in fourteen years.

The release - which also marks their first self-recorded effort since 1994’s ‘Bakesale’ - will be available from 16th September through Domino.

Lou Barlow and co. preceded the record with the 'Secret' EP last year, a set of tracks released quietly on Bandcamp, which has since been pressed onto 10' vinyl.

'New songs for 2012,' they said at the time, 'a taste of our upcoming 2013 album, but, NONE of these songs will be on that album... I repeat: NONE of these songs will be on our forthcoming / in progress 2013 LP...

'This is our first new material in 14 years (wtf!)... proceeds from this will help us continue working on the LP and remain as independent as possible... Physical copies (CD) only available at shows on our upcoming tour...'

The EP's tracklisting is as follows:

1. Keep The Boy Alive
2. My Drugs
3. Arbitrary High
4. I Don't Mind
5. All Kinds
