Cardiff's Swn Festival has announced its first wave of artists for 2013.

The likes of Chlöe Howl, Waxahatchee, and Deerhunter will all appear at the multi-venue festival in the Welsh capital, which this year takes place from 17th to 20th October.

Other bands from the 50 announces include Masters In France, The Yawns, and Kutosis, while Everything Everything and Dutch Uncles will play shows for those with top-up tickets.

As well as new artists, this year's event will also see the festival making use of a number of new venues in the city, including The Angel Hotel and Jacobs Market.

Tickets for the festival are on sale now - with a four-day wristband costing £60 (plus booking fee) and individual day tickets also available.
