News The Beatles Launch Studio Album Reissues America Bus Stop Tour

The Beatles remastered studio albums to go on sale in America with bus-stop tour

Popstars and rockstars alike have tried and tested every PR stunt possible to make their latest project known to the public, and (despite half of them no longer being around) The Beatles are no different. Launching remastered studio album 12-inches in a very British fashion, by double-decker bus, the mobile record store will be making stops in New York and Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The custom-made double-decker bus stocking 14 stereo LPs - including the rare collections Past Masters Volumes One & Two and the 12 original UK albums with B-sides - will stop at Seventh Avenue, New York, at 9.30am and the Capital Records building in Los Angeles at 2.30pm, both on 13 November.

Making stops in other locations across both cities, the touring Beatles bus will sell the records individually or as part of a box set that includes a hardbound book. In addition to this, CD copies of the album, DVDs of the newly restored Yellow Submarine and Magical Mystery Tour, plus an exclusive t-shirt designed for each city will be up for grabs too.
