The Dismemberment Plan Confirm New Album Plans

Frontman Travis Morrison reveals the news via his Twitter account.

The Dismemberment Plan are well on the way to completing a new album, a not inconspicuous tweet by frontman Travis Morrison confirms.

The band had already premiered seven new songs in August at a gig in Baltimore, and now, according to Morrison, they are ‘80%’ through working on a new record.

He then followed this with various suggestions including ‘a song that sounds like R2D2 doing ‘low rider’ at karaoke’ and that the ‘current front runner for album title is ‘The Adventures of Bobby Beverage And Two Shoe Lou’.

The band originally split in 2003, before reuniting first in 2007 for a charity show, and then again in 2010 for a tour supporting the reissue of 1999’s ‘Emergency & I’.
