News Waxahatchee Announces October London Show

Katie Crutchfield will return to the UK this autumn following her ongoing support tour with Tegan & Sara.

Waxahatchee has announced details of a London headline show for October, following her ongoing support tour with Tegan & Sara and two sold out headline dates this week.

The recent-Wichita signing will follow the UK release of her excellent second 'Cerulean Salt' record on 1st July with a date at London's Scala on 22nd October.

Katie Crutchfield - who discusses her new album in an interview in the June issue of DIY - is currently supporting Tegan & Sara during their European and UK tour, and also has two sold-out headline shows in London later this week.

She supported Tegan & Sara at London's Troxy yesterday, and will headline tomorrow (Thursday 13th June) at The Shacklewell Arms and Friday (14th) at Dalston Roof Park. She was also amongst the first 50 acts confirmed for Cardiff's Swn Festival this October, so there's every chance more UK dates will be booked around these two shows.

Tickets for the new London date will go on sale at 9am this Friday (14th June). Support will come from Swearin', which is the band of Katie's twin sister and former bandmate in P.S. Eliot Alison.
