The keys and synthesizers make ‘Midnight Man’ an upbeat and energetic track, but it never gives up that prepossessing sexiness wielded in every Cave song.

His songs are inoffensive, he is half French, and he looks like a sweet chap you could bring home to your Mother. He has also paid homage to a wonderful song with respect and rejuvenation, leaving his own fingerprint. This is why we like Jeremy Warmsley.

The album is a brooding but melodious debut, which never strays from its authentic folk and blues roots.
