A humming collision of Afropop samples and looped, analog synths.

It’s difficult to make a definitive guess on just how long Manchester’s Inkships spent with recording his first song, ‘Cassettes’. The humming collision of Afropop samples and looped, analog synths is so finely applied, with such exaction, that you’d assume something like this could take months before a final product emerges.

For now, this anonymous character is refusing to take plaudits, failing to disclose his name (despite expressing his glee at being featured on plenty of blogs in a recent Tumblr post), no doubt calculating the next few months, from which one more flawless work of makeshift pop will emerge.
