They’ve since shared a secret with DIY, however: They’re suckers for a good dance-off. An exclusive mix for DIY is a rhythmic beast. It transgresses club-ready genres, in turn giving a slight nod to the clean-cut beauty of debut ‘The Hunt’. From the off, bass notes blast from the seams and out into the open. Two mysterious white label inclusions only add to the sense that in crafting their own sound, DNKL have had to dig their way through hidden territory.
We’ve also been kindly handed a neatly-written note confirming the fact that these guys did indeed dance like loons ‘til the early hours while putting this together.
