While conjuring up faint similarities with last year’s breakout duo Purity Ring, every aspect of MVSCLES’ lone track ‘Sweet N Sour’ screams of their playful, carefree intentions.

Over the top of some bouncy, joyous electronic work, the Boston duo have produced a fun, candy coated pop song so child like it almost borders on nonsensical. With occasional pitch shifts to their vocals and ‘woo, woo’s’ aplenty, they even manage to break down the anatomy of a tree in some bizarre, haze-zapped ‘Rattlin’ Bog’ song fashion.

Thing is, they get away with their overly adolescent aspects in a quiet cocksure style. Say hello to your new anthem of summer 2012.
