And you thought the only band you knew from Leicester was Kasabian. Uh huh, think again.

This midlands trio are a somewhat curve-ball inclusion to the diverse roster of Oxford based Blessing Force artists (Chad Valley, Trophy Wife). Together, Ian, Mark and Bob put out a four track demo - entitled the ‘Dirty White EP’ - towards the end of 2011, with a style that sits somewhere between post punk and lo-fi guitar pop, a la Male Bonding perhaps, only with a heap of extra catchy melodies to boot.

‘Certain Taste’ is their latest cut, incorporating all of the bands best attributes in a concise three and a half minutes. It’s scuzzy, fun and highly infectious. So there you are, three adjectives that won’t be bettered to describe Sisterland.
