Sun Glitters speaks for himself in the two self-explanatory words that help make up his moniker. A sight of the glittering sunlight is what you see in his promo images, what you end up hearing in his music if you listen closely enough. The music is summer, not the kind that makes bands with guitars declare their love for the beach, more a kind of nocturnal, stayed up all night and ending up staring face-down at the grains of sound, kind of summer.

Imagine swimming the tide that Richard from The Beach forced himself through, arriving at the serene, deserted island; nothing but tall, lurking palm trees and miles of sand ahead of you. Sun Glitters has been there and he wants to tell you all about it.

Victor Ferreira is one of many artists lurking around after having establishing themselves on SoundCloud. Word of mouth seems to do the trick: Each of Ferreira’s tracks has dozens of over-excited comments directly beneath, all wanting a taste of the summer he’s indulged in. Considering he resides in Luxembourg - an absolute unknown when it comes to the brand of sun-kissed electronica he’s delivering every other day - this is pretty funny.

Having already collaborated with Steffaloo, he’s poised to bring out two releases on music/is/for/losers and Lebens Strasse Records respectively. The aforementioned collaboration might be the biggest lease of life he’s recorded to date: a pulsating, reverb-soaked number with the kind of energy you want to snatch out and keep for yourself.
