Advertorial feature Get a glimpse of Texas at 2024’s edition of The Long Road Festival
This year’s fest played host to some of the state’s best and brightest exports, and we’re here to give you a taste of what went down.
Back in August, The Long Road Festival returned to its beautiful country location in Leicestershire for a weekend celebrating the best of roots, blues and Americana music. What’s even more exciting, however, that the festival doubled as an opportunity for ticket-holders to get a little better acquainted with the offerings of a certain Lone Star State.
Thanks to festival sponsor Texas Frontiers, this year’s edition of The Long Road played host to a handful of the state’s brightest new creatives: musicians, artists and chefs all teamed up to offer attendees an incredible taste of what Texas can offer, and now, we’re here to do the same.
In our below videos, we get to know some of the stand-out Texan musicians from the bill, including Lubbock’s own Flatland Cavalry, reflective songwriter John Baumann, and R&B outfit THEBROSFRESH, as well as chef and Fort Worth native Tim Love, who takes us behind-the-scenes at the reimagining of his Lonesome Dove restaurant. You can also take a glimpse at the very special pop-up celebrating Austin City Limits’ anniversary - courtesy of Visit Austin - too. Check out the videos below.
