Ding ding! The best musical feuds that didn’t happen

Admit it. There’s a small part of you that rubbernecks when you see a car accident. That tiny, ugly part of your brain that made you shout “fight!” in the playground at school. The brain cells that make you look at videos of BMXers getting injured when you’re too hungover to move. That same part of you loves a musical feud, right? When Radiohead and Miley Cyrus had beef, that was pretty fun, wasn’t it? Robert Smith vs. Morrissey, that’d have been a pay-per-view boxing match, and despite yourself, it would’ve turned up on your TV bill. However peaceful and zen people like to seem, there’s a small part of everyone that enjoys conflict from afar, with popcorn in hand.

With this in mind, it’s time to review the feuds that should’ve really had more traction. The ones we’d love to see played out further, or ones that didn’t exist, but should. Before anyone accuses of inciting hatred, remember that this is mostly total nonsense, dreamt up by a weirdo with a computer, and nothing more.
