THE GIG
Gnarwolves, Nai Harvest, Otto - London, The Old Blue Last

Skate punks Gnarwolves have already landed on the cover of DIY Weekly this year. Word’s still spreading, though. Nai Harvest also look to be a cult favourite on the cusp of something huge. Tonight’s gig is sold out.

THE BIG NEU THING
DEATHCATS
THE RADDEST by DEATHCATS!!!

Summer-vibed garage surf pop. Where might that come from? California? Florida? Australia? All wrong. The answer is, obviously, Glasgow. Yes, these endearing Scottish noise makers and self-confessed ‘lovers of cats’, DEATHCATS, craft catchy, messy and downright awesome surf pop gems in a place where surfing is most definitely a non-possibility. ‘Surfing In My Head’ is all dreamy ‘ooooohs’ and ‘ahhhhhs’, driving guitars, and a shout-a-long one line chorus, all delivered with a sexy Scottish snarl. Grab their recently released ‘Raddest’ EP on limited edition cassette before it’s too late. It really is the raddest. [Nathan Standlee]

While everything hits crazed heights and never looks back, she’s there in middle keeping things controlled.
